Polls show Harris, Trump close as they hit swing states
- With six days until US Election Day, Republican Donald Trump, Democrat Kamal Harris, their running mates and surrogates are swinging through multiple battleground states for campaign events today.
- Trump will start in North Carolina before heading to an event in Wisconsin with NFL star Bret Favre.
Where are Donald Trump and Kamal Harris today?
Donald Trump and Kamala Harris will crisscross several swing states, passing each other in Wisconsin, where the former president is scheduled to appear in Green Bay with a one-time local icon, retired NFL quarterback Brett Favre.
Harris’s Madison, Wisconsin, rally will feature performances from musicians, including the band Mumford & Sons.
The two candidates will also visit North Carolina, another battleground state where Trump holds a significant edge over Harris.
Harris also campaigns in Pennsylvania today.

- Harris continues to lead over Trump in the election’s final stretch, but she holds a narrow lead of just one percentage point over the Republicans – 44 percent to 43 percent, nationally, according to the latest Reuters/Ipsos polls.
