Liam Payne fired by record label days before his death – did he commit suicide?
Fresh data might clarify the events behind Liam Payne’s untimely death after a fall from an Argentinean hotel balcony.
According to The Daily Mail, Payne’s record company fired him just days before his death.
Launching his solo career, the 31-year-old musician signed with Capitol Records in July 2016. He was thrilled about the contract at the time, but many sources have since verified to the Daily Mail that the record company broke ties with him.
Payne’s spokesperson also resigned early in October, depriving the singer of media coverage. This resignation coincided with court actions started by Maya Henry, his former fiancée, alleging he tried to contact her.
One person said, “It felt like the entire music career he had established over the prior eight years was collapsing. He had to have found this development shocking.
According to a post-mortem investigation, Payne could have fallen from the third-floor balcony unconscious. According to the findings of an Argentine agency, his body’s posture and the injuries he sustained indicated that he was either partially or completely asleep, implying that he did not attempt to defend himself during the fall.
The investigation also stated Payne could have had a substance-induced outburst as all signs pointed to his being alone at the time of the event.
Shortly before the collapse, another hotel guest claimed hearing a “loud, violent scream” from Payne’s room. People.com claims that only minutes before the catastrophe, this visitor reported hearing notable commotion emanating from the singer’s room.
“At first, I thought they were doing some kind of work in the room,” the visitor remarked, pointing out that the noises sounded like someone lifting or pushing something heavy down. In addition to hearing new sounds until about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Argentina time), they also observed hotel workers entering and exiting Payne’s room.
