Rapper “The Game” claims Diddy attempted to “set up” Drake prior to his arrest
Interviews from Diddy’s background are coming to light in the wake of his arrest on allegations of racketeering and trafficking, which further casts doubt on the Bad Boy Recorders founder.
The Game’s interview with VladTV has gone viral because, during their 2014 fight, he implied that Diddy released a smash single with Drake.
The Game said that when in Los Angeles, he told the OVO hitmaker about Sean’s ambitions, which sparked Drake’s spat with Pusha T.
If The Game is to be believed, he forewarned Drake that Diddy was about to “run up on him.”
During the interview, The Game disclosed what happened after the supposed fight in Miami between Diddy and Drake over the “0-100” beat, which Drake ended up winning.
“Who would confront him?” was a common request in Los Angeles. I’m not claiming that it originated with Sean Combs, but things can become sticky in Los Angeles. Consequently, when conflicts emerge, people tend to single out certain individuals, including myself. So, I had some inside knowledge that Drake had access to; I’m not sure where it came from, but it was similar to my brother’s. Therefore, I confronted him and stated, “Yo, this is what it is.”
While celebrating DJ Khaled’s birthday in Miami in 2014, rumors circulated that Diddy had assaulted Drake outside the LIV nightclub as part of Basel Week. An anonymous source claims that Diddy told Drake, “You will not disrespect me,” before physically attacking him.
In a tweet from that period, Sam Sneak said, “It definitely wasn’t about Cassie.
But Diddy said he never struck Drake.
Sean Combs told The Breakfast Club, “I didn’t touch Drake, and I don’t want any issues with him.” A statement from Diddy was made. The time has come for Drake to arrive. That concludes my remarks. He’s working hard. Drake was unaffected by my actions. Drake is a friend of mine.
