Did The Boys predict Donald Trump assassination attempt?

Social media users on X (formerly known as Twitter) are linking Amazon’s The Boys to the Donald Trump assassination attempt which recently went viral across the internet. 

The Boys sums up what happens if superheroes like Superman, Batman, The Flash, and more go bad and the consequences that the world would suffer if they use their powers irresponsibly. The episode in question is called “Assassination Run” which is the last episode of The Boys’ recent season 4.

A user wrote, “The Boys just predicted the future” as they attached a picture of the episode that doesn’t come out till next Thursday, by the time of writing this article.

Another wrote, “It’s so funny to me that the last episode of Season 4 of The Boys is titled ‘Assassination Run’ and it has to do with Homelander plotting to kill one of the presidential candidates, and now in real life, this Donald Trump sh*t happened. That’s why the Boys is peak and so relevant.”

Someone replied with, “They out her making predictions like The Simpsons,” which was also the talk of social media amid predictions similar to The Boys.

On the other hand, several users pointed out that they don’t like how The Boys is going more on the political side of things, pointing out that not everything has to have “propaganda and an agenda behind it.”

One added, “Why can’t we have nice things anymore? Everything is filled with woke sh*t and it’s like Hollywood wants to stuff it down everyone’s throats! The Boys used to be great but all went downhill after season 3 hit screens.”

Following a failed assassination attempt, the FBI announced the identification of the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Pennsylvania.

Unfortunately, an innocent man was shot dead and two were injured due to the assassination attempt, according to local authorities.

It was confirmed that the Secret Service shot Crooks dead after the shooting took place, as reported by AP.
