Did Adele confirm she secretly married Rich Paul?
Adele and Rich Paul have been sparking marriage rumors for months, and now it seems that the singer has finally confirmed the news.
According to two eyewitnesses who attended a comedy show by Adele’s friend Alan Carr in Los Angeles on Saturday, the “Easy on Me” singer shouted “I did” when Carr asked the audience if anyone had gotten married recently.
This is not the first time that Adele has referred to Paul as her husband or wife. In September, she called him her husband while interacting with a fan at one of her Las Vegas residency shows, and later that month, she called herself his wife while discussing sports.
In October, Paul dodged the question when CBS Mornings’ Gayle King asked him if he and Adele were married, saying “You can say whatever you want.” He also said that they value their privacy and that they are in a good space.
Adele and Paul, who is a sports agent representing stars like LeBron James and Zach LaVine, went public with their relationship in July 2021, when they attended Game 5 of the NBA Finals together. Since then, they have been spotted on various outings and events, such as the Met Gala and the British Vogue 100th anniversary party.
Adele has also gushed about Paul in interviews, telling Elle that she is “never been in love like this” and that she is “obsessed with him.” In December, she surprised him with a birthday serenade at her Las Vegas show, telling him “I love you more than life itself.”
Paul has also opened up about his personal life in his memoir Lucky Me: A Memoir of Changing the Odds, which was released in October.
In the book, he recounts his childhood in a crime-ridden neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio, where he had to deal with his mother’s drug addiction, violence, and poverty.
He credits his resilience and determination for helping him overcome the odds and become one of the most successful agents in the sports industry.
He also reveals how he met Adele through a mutual friend and how they connected over their shared experiences and passions.
