1) Project Mugen

Project Mugen is Singaporean developer, Naked Rain’s first game but surprisingly it’s one of the most promising games on the list!

It’s a vibrant and colorful RPG with an anime style featuring a roster of characters with different gameplay mechanics and personalities.

The game will be set in a world similar to Earth where humans have to co-exist with urban legends and supernatural beings.

Project Mugen’s trailers had much to offer showcasing smooth swinging traversal similar to Insomniac’s Marvel Spider-man and the addition of several drivable vehicles. It also showcased a variety of characters in action including many of the characters mentioned above.

2) Wuthering Waves

An open-world game from Punishing Gray Raven’s developer, Kuro Games.

Punishing Gray Raven is one of the best Gacha games on the market for its flawless combat, animations, and beautiful character designs and Wuthering Waves is looking to be no different.

Wuthering Waves seems to be incorporating Punishing Grey Raven’s unique and dense combat with Genshin Impact’s open-world and RPG gameplay with the addition of Kuro Game’s unique character designs.

Players will wake from a deep sleep and venture into an expansive and explorable open world that mixes sci-fi elements and nature.

3) BREAKERS: UNLOCK THE WORLD

 VIC GAME STUDIOS

South Korean developer, VIC GAME STUDIOS’ answer to the Genshin Impact hype.

After watching the Breaker’s trailer released a month ago,  Sep. 19, 2023, we were very impressed with how expressive the character animations are and how alive and dense the world is.

The game looks as stunning as ever thanks to modern graphics and the timeless cel-shaded anime style that we adore.

Fans are begging the developers to release the game globally rather than just in Asia since a number of games take time to reach the global market.

4) Blue Protocol

Bandai Namco

The first and last MMORPG on the list comes from Japan’s Bandai Namco and Amazon Games for the West.

Blue Protocol is a free-to-play MMORPG that features dynamic-action combat and different classes to choose from with an interesting fantasy storyline and characters.

Players will be able to create their own characters before starting the game and build them with time after they level up and explore the huge open world.

You are on a journey to explore the truth about your origins while you meet interesting characters and friends on the way. You find yourself in a pinch after having the whole world’s fate in your hands.

While Amazon Games plans to release Blue Protocol in the West in 2024, the game has already been released in Japan.
