Jail-time! Selling Forged Certificates Not Allowed!

A 33-year-old man was slapped with a three-year jail sentence, followed by deportation, after an Ajman court found him guilty of forging official documents.
According to the Ajman Police’s investigation, he was ambushed and caught red-handed while handing over a forged high school diploma for Dh1,500.
The defendant’s vehicle was then searched, revealing a printer and a laptop that was connected to his car’s battery. Various samples of official seals and logos for different Arab educational institutions were found on the laptop, which were then confiscated.
The ambush had been set up after an anonymous source informed the police of the man’s involvement in the crimes.
