Iranian authorities arrested a man who published a video that shows the place where the bodies of the dead are washed in Qom, the Iranian epicenter of coronavirus, according to Iran International TV.\r\nThe video showed many dead bodies \u2013 coronavirus victims \u2013 awaiting burial after they had been washed.\r\n\u201cLook at those stacked corpses,\u201d the man in the video said. \u201cAs you can see, there are many corpses of coronavirus victims. It has been this way for six days because of the lack of the ability to perform a proper burial.\u201d\r\nThe man said the problem is \u201cbigger than what the Iranian authorities and the media are saying.\u201d He added that \u201cdozens are dying every day in the city.\u201d\r\n\r\nOfficial death toll\r\nIran said on Wednesday that the new coronavirus\u00a0has killed 92 people amid 2,922 confirmed cases\u00a0across the Islamic Republic.\r\nThere are now over 3,140 cases of the new virus across the Middle East. Of those cases in the broader region, most link back to the Islamic Republic.\r\nThe virus\u00a0has infected top leaders\u00a0inside the\u00a0Iranian regime. Iran stands alone in how the virus has affected its government, even compared to hard-hit China, the epicenter of the outbreak.\r\nWorldwide, the virus has infected more than 90,000 people and caused over 3,100 deaths.\r\nExperts worry Iran may be underreporting\u00a0the number of cases it has.
