Iran and Turkey plunder the Syrian economy

The Turks are penetrating economically and commercially, in addition to military control, taking advantage of the absence of the legitimate and official authority from the north of Syria, and Ankara has become absolute control in all areas, while Iran, through its militias, is controlling the Syrian south by its own means, in light of a remarkable Arab absence from the two aforementioned regions.

In the north of Syria, after Turkey assumed military control over several regions, where illegal crossings were opened in most cases, it began to impose Turkish goods and replace them with local goods, and now Turkish factories specializing in the production of foodstuffs are spreading in Idlib, especially while the Turkish lira has become the only one in circulation. And recognized among merchants and citizens under Turkish official pressure and threat.

The Turkish state has not lost control of the nerve of life in those besieged areas, which is the telecommunications sector, and Turkish companies have begun to penetrate into the northern Syrian regions, establish towers and cellular communication points, and make millions at the expense of local Syrian companies, and most importantly, there is information confirming that the Turkish Ministry of Interior has started in Distributing passports to Syrian refugees in Turkey, in addition to the citizens residing in northern Syria, and it is clear that there is a conspiracy and a sinister goal being hatched to slay the cities of Syria under the pretext of the presence of Turkish citizens more than the population, which is what the ancestors of Recep Tayyip Erdogan practiced when they slaughtered Iskenderun from his motherland, Syria.

Iranian persistence did not reach the point of dealing with the Syrians and controlling them as a matter of charitable societies. Rather, they pressured the regime of President Bashar al-Assad, in order to obtain the secret codes, security keys, and the waves used by Syrian telecommunications companies in order to eavesdrop and spy on the Syrians’ communications, which formed a crisis and discord Between the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and his cousins like Rami Makhlouf and his brothers.
The other issue that Iran is working on is controlling the electricity market, and controlling it under the pretext that there is a crisis in this sector from which the Syrian citizen suffers.

  • According to the information received, Tehran is seeking to conclude an agreement with the Assad regime to connect the electricity from Iran through Iraq to Syria, and this is another way to pressure the Syrian citizen and force him to accept the Iranian presence and the militia’s control that Tehran is pursuing in imposing its control over an area, as it exports electricity to Basra As soon as the Iraqi city rose up against the Iranian militia’s military control over it, Iran cut off the electricity on the city, and was forced to restore it for fear of Saudi intervention, after Riyadh showed its willingness to supply the Iraqis with electricity.

Meanwhile, Iranian control is expanding to exploit food stores in the coastal city of Tartous to control the Syrian market and feed the citizen, in addition to its attempt to tamper and control agricultural activity, especially in southern Syria, which suffers after closing the Gulf market and stopping the supply of goods to it, where Jordan can be a corridor for economic openness to the Syrians On the Gulf, which is the gateway and link between the two parties, knowing that Syria imports quantities of electricity from Jordan, and Iran’s entry into this market will harm Jordanian interests.

Official relations with the Gulf states may develop rapidly, especially at this stage, where the president of the Syrian regime has become almost acceptable to the Gulf countries and do not mind opening up to him and dealing with him, and this matter will contribute to saving southern Syria from poverty and hunger and will provide a major security explosion in the region that will return negatively. And devastation to the surrounding countries

This Turkish-Iranian activity in the north and south is nothing but a real and explicit occupation, and it must be confronted as soon as possible, especially from the neighboring countries and the Gulf states, which must quickly embark on developing trade and economic exchange with the Syrian institutions in order not to fall prey to Iranian and Turkish officials, and to block the road And miss the opportunity for the two mentioned countries to control the Syrian economy.
