She was lucky enough to be on the guest list for the ultra exclusive Met Gala 2019 on Monday.
And Rita Ora was raving about her wild night out when she appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, delighting the studio audience with her behind-the-scenes gossip and tales of flirting with waiters.
The singer, 28, looked glamorous in a quirky white shirtdress with a sheer tulle overlay, embroidered with beautiful black flower detailing.
Rita’s typically unconventional fashion choice highlighted her long legs underneath the see-through skirt, set off with coordinating white stilettos.
Quizzed what her experience of the Met Gala had been like, Rita told Jimmy, ‘I really went for it guys!’.
She enthused about her ‘date’ for the evening, singer and social media sensation Lizzo.
The British star exclaimed: ‘Lizzo, she was so fun, she was my date. We all went with Marc Jacobs. It was like me, Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss, Lizzo, it was really fashiony.
‘Lizzo and me were like drinking at the table. I was like, what are you looking at? She just kept flirting with all the waiters!
‘I thought, let’s get involved ’cause they’re so handsome! That was our entertainment. And then Cher came out and I freaked out!’
Rita confessed she felt underdressed at the costume gala in her extreme plunging, sequinned gold gown – a new experience for the sartorially adventurous star.
Despite being ultra glamorous, her dress was modest in comparison to some of the flamboyant looks parading down the red carpet as the VIP guests embraced this year’s ‘Camp’ theme to the max.
