Indian Teen Commits Suicide for 5 Questions

The teacher gave the boy five extra minutes but he was unable to finish the paper due to which he got depressed.

 

A 17-year-old boy committed suicide by jumping from sixth floor of a building after he missed answering five questions during his Grade 12 board examination.

The incident occurred on Monday in a village in Rajasthan, India, when the deceased boy, who was a meritorious student, realised he had missed answering five questions on the last page of the Physics exam paper.

According to reports in Hindustan Times, the boy noticed that last two pages of the exam paper were stuck to each other and he realised there was no time left for him to answer those questions.

 

The nervous boy then asked the supervisor for extra time after which he was given five minutes but he was unable to finish the paper. The boy who hailed from Sikar district in Rajasthan jumped off a building near the exam centre and was spotted lying in a pool of blood, police said.

The deceased was appearing for Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education board examination and was pursuing science-maths stream.
