Euphoria Star Maude Apatow Stuns in a Black Dress at Met Gala 2022

Maude Apatow hit the red carpet with a throwback look channeling old Hollywood glam from the 1950s at the 2022 Met Gala.

The 24-year-old Euphoria star was all smiles on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday evening.

This year’s theme was In America: An Anthology of Fashion, with the actress clearly leaning into the 1950s fashion with her look.

The actress stepped out with an elegant black off-shoulder Miu Miu gown for her red carpet debut look.

The gown featured straps at her biceps with the slightly-sheer gown featuring more and more black fringes going down her legs.

The full-length dress goes all the way to the ground, with the fringes completely covering her black pumps, with a slit down the back.

She had her hair in shoulder-length wavy curls evocative of vintage looks from the 1950s, with elegant diamond earrings.

She accessorized with a dazzling diamond choker necklace and a number of rings for the biggest night in fashion.

Her Met Gala debut comes just days after one of her old tweets from May 2011 surfaced, where she made some remarks fans called out.

She said back in May 2011, when she was just 14 years old, that, ‘I’m at the age where everything you say is either incredibly racist or extremely inappropriate.’

A fan named Cami reached out in March, asking her to, ‘address the tweet sweetie so they don’t keep dragging you.’

Maude responded, ‘I meant that everyone at my age was terrible!!!!’

Apatow is the oldest daughter of director Judd Apatow and actress Leslie Mann, making her acting debut in 2007’s Knocked Up.

She would go on to star in her father’s films such as Funny People and This Is 40, before branching out on her own in Girls, Other People and Assassination Nation, written and directed by her Euphoria creator Sam Levinson.

She will return as Lexi Howard in Season 3 of Euphoria, and she will also voice Justine in AMC’s first ever adult animated series Pantheon.
