Abu Dhabi’s Desert Offers Free Adventures Via Drifting

Off-road enthusiasts in the UAE will be pleased to know that the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi has launched a series of adventure-filled off-road routes that will enable them to take advantage of the weather and enjoy desert camping and safari experiences in their own vehicles.

The series includes six driving route maps that will cover several spots in Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafrah and Al Ain. Some of the off-road tracks will take adventurers through routes like Al Remah, Umm Al Oush, Al Ain-White Sands, Liwa Crossing, Hameem Loop and Al Khazana.

Drivers will be provided with necessary off-roading skills, basics will be taught to those with no prior off-roading experience, a checklist and instructions will be shared to ensure the safety of participants. Routes are designed to suit people with all levels of driving experiences.
